BSO Le Garage is open every working day from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with the option of pre-school care.
Pre-school care: Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
After-school care: The start time of after-school care depends on the regular schedule of the primary school. After-school care is open from 2:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 11:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The opening of after-school care depends on the closing time of the primary school that a child attends.

School holidays/study days
During holidays and on study days, it is possible to purchase full days of after-school care. During school holidays, after-school care is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
On request, after-school care is also available on other days when the school is closed. After-school care is provided on days when the school is closed if there are at least three children for whom extra care is requested.

Espira After-school care Le Garage

Espira After-school Care Le Garage is a unique after-school care center in Bergen op Zoom-Noord, in the Meilust Zuid neighborhood. What makes us special is that we are not located in a school, but have our own building with plenty of space for sports, games, and creativity. Our after-school care center is located in the same building as the daycare center, which is ideal for families with children of different ages. 

Our after-school care center, also known as ‘De Rangerovers’, is located close to schools and the Anton van Duinkerkenpark with a playground. The forest and heathland are also nearby: places where we regularly take the children to explore, exercise, and simply enjoy being outdoors.

For us, it's all about fun, freedom, adventure, and making friends. Children can let off steam in our large natural outdoor play area, get creative in the studio, or learn actively with the Activefloor. This way, they experience something new every day and do challenging activities together with friends and trusted educational professionals. Suus the dog (specially trained) teaches children to treat animals with respect.

BSO Le Garage offers preschool care, after-school care, and holiday care. We pick up the children from various primary schools in Bergen op Zoom:

Care groups at the location

Espira After-school care Le Garage offers before- and after-school care and holiday care. The after-school care center is called ‘De Rangerovers’ and can accommodate up to 100 children divided into 5 vertical groups:

At ‘De Rangerovers’, children (aged 4 to 12) are free to decide what they would like to do. Two activities are always offered, such as baking, crafts, dancing, building, and technology. The activities are changed every 3 to 4 weeks. A gym is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays. 

The after-school care center also has a children's council, where children aged 8 and older can come up with activities themselves and carry them out (under supervision).

After school, your child will be picked up—on foot, by electric after-school care bus, or by after-school care minibus. The oldest children come home independently.

There is time to catch up with after-school care friends or just relax after school. We organize activities for the group, but your child can also choose what they want to do: crafts, cooking, painting, or reading in the beanbag chair. And of course, we go outside every day to play soccer, swing, build huts, or explore nature together.

With our childcare packages, you can easily choose the childcare that best suits your situation. With our 52-week childcare package, your child is welcome on all childcare days throughout the year. Don't want childcare during the school vacation weeks? Then choose the 40-week package. For both packages, you can choose between full days and half days.

Accessibility of the location

Espira Le Garage Daycare Center is easily accessible by car, bicycle, and public transportation. Parents can park conveniently in our own parking lot next to Le Garage. There is also ample parking in the neighborhood. Our location is conveniently situated near roads leading to the city center and the A4 and A58 highways.

You can easily schedule a tour via our website. During your visit to our child daycare or after-school care, you will meet our educational professionals. You can get a feel for the atmosphere, see the rooms and ask any questions you may have. You can also register your child first. We will then send you an invitation for a tour.

  • Within a few days, you will hear whether there is a place available.
  • You will receive a placement agreement.
