In the summer of 2026, Espira Daycare Utrechtseweg will open in the Bergkwartier neighborhood, one of the oldest and greenest neighborhoods in Amersfoort.
The location is in the middle of a green neighborhood with a small shopping area, close to schools and within walking/cycling distance of the train station and the center of Amersfoort.
In this monumental, fully renovated building (a former courthouse), we combine modern comfort with our Scandinavian vision of healthy childcare. We have two floors where we offer childcare to five groups. The large green outdoor area is a real eye-catcher – with sandboxes, grassy hills, wooden play equipment, and lots of natural materials. It is the perfect place for children to play, discover, and have adventures all year round.

Espira Daycare Utrechtseweg has two vertical and three horizontal groups:
- Group 1 – (0-4 years, max. 16 children)
- Group 2 – (0-4 years, max. 16 children)
- Group 3 – baby group (0-2 years, max. 12 children)
- Group 4 – toddler group (2-4 years, max. 16 children)
- Group 5 – toddler plus group (3-4 years, max. 8 children) A cozy group where we prepare children from the age of 3 for the transition to primary school.

With our childcare packages, you can easily choose the childcare that best suits your situation. With our 52-week childcare package, your child is welcome on all childcare days throughout the year. Don't want childcare during the school vacation weeks? Then choose the 40-week package.
For both packages, childcare is provided on a full-day basis. Half days are only possible if the schedule allows.

How do I request a tour?
You can easily schedule a tour via our website. During your visit to our child daycare or after-school care, you will meet our educational professionals. You can get a feel for the atmosphere, see the rooms and ask any questions you may have. You can also register your child first. We will then send you an invitation for a tour.
How do I register my child for Espira childcare?
You register your child online via our website.
What happens next?
- Within a few days, you will hear whether there is a place available.
- You will receive a placement agreement.
- You sign this online within 7 days.
- The placement is then finalised.
When will I receive confirmation of my registration?
After registering, you will receive confirmation by e-mail.
